Organized simultaneously at 4 sites along the Lachine Canal, the great 360° cleanup removed 1,600 kg of waste from a total of 2 kilometers of shoreline.
Thank you to our partner Pro-vert Sud Ouest and to the 90 volunteers who came to help us on land and in the water!
Our second clean up at Promenade-Bellerive Park resulted in 402 kg of garbage collected in just 4 hours. Park benches, bicycles, dvd player, garden furniture, underwear … and much more have been succesfully removed from the river banks.
Despite the heat, the kick-off for the 2020 Cleaning 360° operating season was a great success, with almost a ton collected!

Over 24 consecutive hours, dozens of divers and more than 200 volunteers helped clean up the Lachine waterfront, covering at least 700 metres of shoreline, from the Lachine Pier to the Marina d’Escale Park.
A group of motivated EA Games employees lent a hand to clean the Lac Saint-Louis shoreline in and around René-Lévesque Park.
A group of students from Collège Saint Louis cleaned the waterfront in the centre and western parts of Lachine, beginning with Saint-Louis Park.
At the lighthouse pier of Saint-Louis, more than 30 divers helped clean up the shoreline during the very first OpNet360° type of project.
